AI adoption is everywhere.
Evidence of impact is not.

Last updated: October 5, 2026

Outlier Venture Partners PTE. LTD. respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the information you provide when participating in the Artificial Organizations Research Program.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect information in connection with the Artificial Organizations AI Executive Survey, the Measuring AI Outcomes research initiative, and related research activities.

The 2026 research initiative is designed to better understand which leadership behaviors, operating models, organizational practices, and approaches to AI-enabled work are associated with measurable organizational and business outcomes.

1. Who is responsible for the research?

The Artificial Organizations Research Program is operated by:
Outlier Venture Partners PTE. LTD.
105 CECIL STREET #16-05 THE OCTAGON SINGAPORE 069543
Email: hello@barryoreilly.com

The Artificial Organizations Research Program is led by Barry O’Reilly, author of Artificial Organizations.

In this Privacy Policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Outlier Venture Partners PTE. LTD. in its operation of the Artificial Organizations Research Program.

2. What information do we collect?

Survey responses

The research survey is primarily designed to collect information about organizations, ways of working, AI use, leadership, decision-making, and organizational outcomes.
Depending on the questions you answer, information collected may include:

  • Job level, role, or functional area
  • Industry or sector
  • Organization size and characteristics
  • Geographic region
  • AI adoption and use within your organization
  • Leadership and management practices
  • Organizational behaviors and ways of working
  • AI-supported decision-making
  • Human and AI collaboration
  • Operational practices and processes
  • Perceived organizational, team, operational, and business outcomes
  • Responses to optional open-ended questions

The survey is intended to collect information about organizational practices and observable outcomes rather than personally sensitive information.

Contact information

Contact information is collected through a separate form from the research survey.

Depending on what you choose to provide, this may include:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Job title
  • Organization or company
  • Other professional contact information

Keeping contact information separate from research responses helps reduce the direct connection between an individual’s identity and their survey answers.

Technical information

The survey is hosted using Typeform.

When you access the survey or research website, Typeform and other technology providers may automatically collect or process limited technical information, including:

  • IP address
  • Browser and device information
  • Operating system
  • Date and time of access
  • Approximate geographic location derived from technical information
  • Survey completion information
  • Cookies or similar technologies

This information may be used to operate the survey, maintain security, understand participation, prevent misuse, diagnose technical issues, and protect the quality and integrity of the research.
Typeform processes information in accordance with its own privacy and data-processing practices.

3. How do we use your information?

We may use survey responses and associated research information to:

  • Conduct the Artificial Organizations AI Executive Study
  • Analyze patterns across organizations, industries, roles, and regions
  • Develop industry and organizational benchmarks
  • Test and refine the Measuring AI Outcomes research framework
  • Understand relationships between AI-enabled ways of working and organizational outcomes
  • Conduct statistical and research analysis
  • Produce aggregated research findings
  • Improve future versions of the survey and research program
  • Support longitudinal research
  • Assess participation and research quality
  • Produce reports, briefings, presentations, articles, webinars, podcasts, newsletters, educational materials, and other research outputs

The research is intended to identify relationships and patterns in AI-enabled organizational performance. It does not assume that AI adoption or use automatically produces better outcomes.

6. Confidentiality of survey responses

Individual survey responses will remain confidential.
Research findings will be published using anonymized, aggregated, or appropriately grouped information so that individual participants are not identified.

We will not intentionally publish:

  • Your name alongside your individual survey responses
  • Your email address
  • Your identifiable individual survey answers
  • Information that identifies you as the source of a particular survey response

Where analysis of a small group could reasonably create a risk of identifying an individual participant, we may combine categories, suppress results, or otherwise limit the information that is reported.

7. Open-ended responses and quotations

Some survey questions may allow participants to provide written comments or other open-ended responses.

These responses may be analyzed as part of the research.

We will not intentionally publish a quotation in a way that identifies an individual participant without appropriate permission.

When responding to open-ended questions, participants should avoid providing unnecessary:

  • Personal information
  • Sensitive information
  • Confidential business information
  • Trade secrets
  • Proprietary information belonging to an employer or third party
  • Information identifying other individuals

8. Research Partners

The Artificial Organizations Research Program is supported by Research Partners who help support, promote, and expand participation in the research.

Research Partners may promote the survey through their own:

At the end of the applicable retention period, identifiable information will be deleted, anonymized, or otherwise handled in accordance with our data-retention practices.

Anonymized research information

Anonymized or aggregated research information that can no longer reasonably be associated with an identifiable individual may be retained for longer than five years.

The Artificial Organizations Research Program is intended to build a longitudinal evidence base that allows researchers to understand how leadership practices, organizational behaviors, operating models, ways of working, and AI outcomes change over time.

For this reason, anonymized research data may be retained and compared with future research studies.

Depending on your location and applicable data protection laws, we may process your personal information based on one or more of the following:

These may include the right to:

  • Request access to personal information we hold about you
